Materials and animal welfare
Where do the bristles come from, and is the vegan model animal-free?
Horsehair is cut from the mane and is a by-product of the food industry, so no animal is bred or put down to make a toothbrush. If you prefer to avoid animal products entirely, we have the vegan model with bristles of bamboo fibre — 100% plant-based.
Are the bristles cleaned before they go into the brush?
Yes. The horsehair is boiled and sterilised before it goes into the handle. It absorbs more water than nylon, so rinse the brush after use and stand it with the bristles up — then it dries between each time.
Use and durability
Should I choose horsehair or vegan?
Horsehair is medium and our most tested — take it if you are in doubt. The vegan one is the soft choice: bristles of bamboo fibre, gentle on sensitive gums, and for anyone who would rather avoid animal products entirely. Both are 100% free of nylon.
How long does a bundle last?
The Mouth Pack and The Whole Bathroom last about half a year for one person. The Household Pack lasts a full year for four people — or a year and a half for two.
Delivery and returns
When will it arrive?
Five to ten days with track and trace. Shipping is 39 kr under 300 kr and free from 300 kr — most of the packs here are over the threshold. It all ships together in one box.
What if I don't like it?
